Daily Maintenance Sequence for the Shoulders

Updated: Jan 18, 2023

Shoulders feeling tight? Feeling sore after a strong upper body workout? Looking to keep your shoulders healthy and balanced with a daily routine? Follow along with the video below to bring some mobility and openness to all angles of the shoulder region. This short, yet effective flow will leave you feeling less tense and allow your shoulders to relax down away from your ears! Hello, stress release!

Some notes to keep in mind: when you do a lot of one thing, you need to make sure you do the opposite. For example, if you do a lot of upper body strength work, you want to incorporate some mobility work for the shoulder region. Have a desk job with a lot of computer work and sitting? You'll want to balance that out with a little more opening of the front body. This sequence incorporates both mobility work along with opening the front body to bring a little more balance to the body. Enjoy!

Hope you find this useful! As always, feel free to reach out with any questions.

If you're looking for a nice, overall hip stretch, try this.

Or if you're looking for a more power flow, this sequence is designed to activate the entire circumference of your core!

As always this is just my own opinion based on my experience and knowledge at this time. There’s always more to learn and consider.
